Known to many as Encino’s Israeli hangout, Tempo is bound to impress diners of any culture. The yellow interior walls of this Valley restaurant exude a happy-go-lucky atmosphere which is backed up 110% by the friendly staff and neighborly patrons. In business since 1977, Tempo is famous for its live music and delectable menu of Mediterranean, Israeli and Greek dishes. For the past ten years, singer Pini Cohen – an Angeleno from Israel – has entertained on Thursdays with his upbeat Middle Eastern songs.
