Tahoe Galbi is utilitarian Korean barbecue that specializes in fresh meat and poultry but, more important, puts big honking amounts of meat on your plate. For $16 you are able to do lots of damage with their all-you-can-eat barbecue and more so if you like to complement a meal with bottle after bottle of Korean beer. It’s functional fare with hits (sesame seasoned seaweed; hefty portions) and misses (the décor rivals a dentist office waiting room…in Miami). Do note that the parking situation is going to be tight on the southwest corner of Wilshire and Wilton so consider parking on the street. And when you’re deep down in the middle of that carnivorous frenzy, remember to throw in a little broccoli for balance.
