About
A Venice institution, the Rose Cafe is bakery, stationery shop, restaurant and cafe all in one. A large outdoor patio is perfect for Venice's sunny days, and there's always a wait for the shaded tables. The food, unfortunately, is not as good as it should be. Salads are either bland or too heavy with flavor; often entrees are overcooked. Still, the delectable desserts and eclectic atmosphere make the Rose worth a visit.
