Come hungry and ready to be entertained. Rio Lounge and Grill, Encino’s very own Brazilian steakhouse, has a set-price menu which will or will not include a show, depending on how much you feel like spending. The $25 dinner includes a salad, chef-selected appetizers, and your choice of a chicken, steak or fish entrée. For $10 more on Thursdays and $20 more on Fridays and Saturdays, patrons are welcome to enjoy the two-hour show featuring Brazilian vocalists and dancers. This cultural exposition can also be experienced without dinner for – you guessed it -- $10 on Thursdays and $20 on the weekend. The dance floor in this deep red-and-black-hued establishment fills quickly once the show is over, and revelers have been known to spill onto the stage while dancing to the South American beats. For a truly intriguing people-watching experience, grab a mojito and look on from the bar area.
