Forego the small dining room for the garden seating, where a handful of lavender gently scents the air, trancy electronica inexplicably provides the soundtrack, and bamboo helps block out the neighboring parking lot. The paninis are standard, but Disney-eque birds vigorously bathe in the fountain and owner Pierre Bueno brought his crepe expertise from Brittany. Organic salads and soup du jour options also available. Tuesday evenings the chess players arrive at 6:30 p.m. offering games and informal classes for all ages. Checkmate!
