MOZ Buddha Lounge

Generic as MOZ Buddha Lounge may seem (think dimly lit, extra large gold Buddha statue in the dining room, leather chairs and twinkling candles), this swanky supper club boasts an excellent menu that lives up to high expectations. Serving shared plates of Asian and Indian food, this posh hot spot’s eclectic offerings include everything from Blue Cheese Kick-Ass Fries (yes, that’s the real name) to Shrimp and Panang Curry to Florentine Ravioli. Smokers gather around the fire pit on the outdoor patio, while middle-aged singles (MOZ is often referred to as the Cougar Den of the area) mingle with a purpose in the lounge area, separated from the dining room with a flowing water-covered glass wall. Free appetizers are tray-passed from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weeknights, and various live music artists – from jazz musicians to pianists to Top 40 DJs - entertain nightly, except for Sundays.
