When a roadside truck in the streets of Hollywood seems a little too sketchy for a taco fix, there’s La Cantina. Smack in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard, it serves up tacos as well as burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas and fajitas within its bright red walls. The drink menu is playful and extensive. Along with sangria and mojitos, seven types of margaritas are offered as well as sugary sweet concoctions like the White Chocolate Cherry (cherry vodka and white chocolate liqueur) and the Lemon Meringue Pie (vanilla and citron vodka, sweet & sour, cream & sugar). La Cantina is also a great spot to satisfy late-night munchies—it’s usually open until 2 a.m. on the weekends—and to get your sports fix on one of the many plasma screens throughout the restaurant.
