Kanpachi is a popular 19th hole for players from the nearby Alondra Golf Course seeking an inexpensive sushi fix. Owner and chef Takashi Kido, dapper in a maroon kimono-style shirt and blue cotton hat, jokes that his Stamina Bowl, a $9.95 carbohydrate-loaded, high-protein portion of sticky rice, raw monkfish liver, strips of tuna and salty salmon roe, will keep you energized for "up to two hours."
