Joseph's Cafe

Both the food and the scene are notable at the Greek-Mediterranean themed Joseph’s Cafe. Run by the Abrahamian family since the ’70s, patrons are just as likely to stop by for the souvlaki as they are for a Britney Spears sighting. The menu consists of Greek dishes like moussaka, spanakopita and gyros, but also includes Italian and Armenian choices. After dark, the restaurant turns into a nightclub, which gained notoriety thanks to Brent Bolthouse’s infamous Monday nights. Bolthouse no longer runs the door on Mondays; that night’s door duties now belong to one of his protégés, Pantera Sarah, who continues to bring in celeb friends like Spears and Hilary Duff.
