Johnnie's New York may aspire to New York quality pizza, but somehow it never quite matches up to the real stuff (its the NYC water that makes the Manhattan 'za so good, some say). Still, you could do much worse than Johnnie's in L.A.
The pizza here at this Arizona-based chain is a touch on the thin and greasy side, but the toppings are excellent and always fresh. And Johnnie's has a fantastic selection of other dishes on the menu should you crave something other than a fattening sausage pie. Try their salads; especially their caesar, if you want to feel refreshed here instead of depressed.
