Jollibee is the McDonald’s of the Philippines, except in lieu of Big Macs we get Joys. On the very colorful menu you will not find a clown named Ronald but a happy bee pointing to delicacies such as the Crispy Chickenjoy and the Juicy Yumburger. The rest of the fare includes your basic French fries and ice cream sundaes but you’ll also find beef palabok, a Filipino-style sweet spaghetti and a red bean condensed milk dessert called the Halo Halo Supreme in the mix. Drive through and pick some up for the whole family (or your lazy roommates), or park and eat there while you narrowly avoid a primary-color-induced convulsion.
