Jinju Gomtang

Jinju Gomtang is also known to locals as Mr. Tofu and, after moving from its original location on Western, it has continued to satisfy the late-night munchies with its homespun flavor. You won’t be mourning the name change when you roll into the joint after a late-night beer bender. It boasts a functional décor with a few flashy television screens scattered throughout the place. The strangest things not on the menu are the scissors and tongs you are given instead of typical cutlery. However, your best bet is to use your hands or order the many beef and oxtail soups seasoned to with melted beef cartilage to give it that familiar zing. There’s also the seafood tofu combo and lots of banchan like fresh kimchee to keep the mouth fires burning.
