This spicy (and we mean the food) strip mall Indian restaurant has no food items on its menu over $14. Not bad for a restaurant with good food, good service, and a reasonably priced wine list. India’s Tandoori offers dishes ranging from chicken makhni (tandoori chicken cooked in butter with tomato gravy) to meat samosas (patties stuffed with minced lamb, onions, peas and herbs and then deep fried) to gulab jamun (deep fried cheese balls cooked in rose flavored syrup) for dessert. Lunch specials, all under $9, come with daal, biryani, salad and raita. Cheers to their Sunday Champagne brunch; it’s only $9.95 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
