With a daily repertoire of 10 to 15 different types of fresh fish, oysters in season and a mesquite grill, this is an appealing, unpretentious spot to kick back and enjoy the atmosphere of the Dana Point Harbor.
Some say they'd swim miles just to have the Grill's crab cakes. The unusual texture and flavor comes from finely ground almonds added to the flour that binds the crab meat. The only problem here is deciding what to eat: sea bass, mahi mahi, ahi, salmon, king crab, lobster or one of the many other menu selections and specials.
Sit outside on the patio and slurp New England clam chowder or try one of the enormous seafood salads. With tartufo ice creams for dessert, a friendly neighborhood feeling, and the sights, sounds and aromas of the waterfront, families, lovers and friends will all find something to enjoy.
