Don't be fooled by the old-fashioned, vegetarian-sounding name. This place is all about good, solid bistro food. The warm bread served with dinner could be a meal in itself. But don't stop there. Try the warm spinach salad, light and balanced before diving into a hearty pecan encrusted pork tenderloin. Or skip straight to the creme brulée trio. And dinner’s not the only option: make the drive out to Ojai on a bright Sunday morning and indulge in brunch featuring a Hangtown fry, chile relleno omelette or buckaroo corn cakes.
