The Ortiz family had a dream -- to open up lots of healthy Mexican seafood restaurants!
Popular Food: Ceviche tostada, chorizo con huevos, and camarones al pescador.
Unique Food: Ranchera lobster, huevos divorciados (two eggs topped with two different salsas divided by a delicious portion of chilaquiles), pulpo Veracruz (octopus cuts in Veracruz sauce, mushrooms, onion).
Drinks: Agua de piña (pineapple juice), horchata, Mexican imported sodas, orange juice, soft drinks and beer.
Seating: Large booths fit the whole family.
Ambience: Gracious staff; festive decor and holiday decorations make it a perfect gathering spot for large groups at lunch; local families and couples.
Extras/Notes: Since 1983, the Ortiz family has been serving the southern and eastern neighborhoods of Los Angeles. With a large menu of seafood, oysters, lobster, shrimp, tostadas, soups and meat specialties, patrons stay happy. Dimly lit at night to set the mood for couples. Enchiladas are taken seriously -- they call theirs las reinas (the queens).
