e3rd Steakhouse and Lounge

Named for its location on East Third Street, e3rd feels more like a Hollywood nightclub than a Midwestern steakhouse. Forget the Lone Star, Longhorn and Outback, this stylish spot features high-ceilings, polished cement floors and rows of Zen-inspired tables. Against one wall, a sleek bar with mood lighting morphs from bright pink to lime green to cool blue near low-lying cocktail tables and circular leather stools. Created by Zip Fusion owner Jason Ha, e3rd forgoes the Texas crooners and pastoral landscapes of lesser steakhouses for live DJs and monthly art exhibits. Despite such city slicker tendencies, e3rd is still a steakhouse with menu items running the gamut from the classic filet mignon to the pear-and-soy flavored “e3rd Rib Steak.”
