This Southern Indian restaurant specializes in dosas, crepe-like wrappers made from lentils and rice. Dozens of variations are made from scratch. Popular and noteworthy options include the chicken curry dosa, the kheema dosa filled with spicy ground goat meat, the paper masala dosa with a spicy potato mixture and the paper dosa, a stunning presentation of a long, loosely rolled dosa. Break it apart with your hands and try it in the dipping sauces, which, like everything else, require a tolerance of spice. Southern Indian cooking is characterized by fresh herbs and copious amounts of spice; cream sauces, elaborate curries and Tandoori-style dishes are scarce. Vegetarians and carnivores alike will find plenty of choices to explore in addition to the dosas.
