About
Michel Richard brings his famed Citrus restaurant concept back to L.A. inside chic Social Hollywood. The food is California French and defined by unexpected and exquisite presentation. The restaurant, which has an entrance separate from the nightlife venue, occupies the dining room area of the former Hollywood Athletic Club and Social's owners brought in a restoration team to uncover the original 1920s vaulted ceilings and frescoes. Elegant, fiery amber globe lights hang over fancy-set tables with swank mint green chairs. A bar and a large fireplace also occupy the sprawling space.
Despite training chef de cuisine Rémi Lauvand and constructing the menu Richard does not plan on leaving his current home base in DC to permanently take charge of the kitchen.
