Some Santa Monicans order all three squares a day from this neo-diner, located just across the street from the Aero Theater. Serving comfort food with a California attitude, seasonal farmers market produce sets the specials (like pumpkin pancakes) and typical twists on old favorites include dairy-free chicken pot pie and leaner subsitutions, hence the turkey reuben sandwich and the Cobb salad scattered with turkey bacon bits. Should patrons like to make further substitutions, the kitchen is very accommodating. Small dining room, though, and it’s at its busiest mornings and during lunch.
