About
Beechwood is as much a triumph of design and décor as it is of food and wine. It succeeds wildly at all of them. You can sit by the fire pit outside and enjoy carefully-crafted cocktails or you can lounge on the couches inside while sampling one of the many superb appetizers available. This is no ordinary bar food, either. Sure you can get a basket of fries here, but you have a choice between regular or sweet potato fries and up to nine different sauces. Also, definitely try the tasty flat bread and the counterintuitive but delicious grilled lamb meatballs. The back room serves a more formal dinner, but most of the action at Beechwood is around the bar and patio. The crowd is young and gorgeous and weekends can get a bit heated as locals, tourists and Hollywood visitors vie for elbow room inside.

Remember Menemsha? Probably The cavernous space at the Venice-Marina del Rey border where Abbot Kinney butts into Washington...
