George's Bistro

As its tile floor looks like cracked stone, its walls perfectly approximate the interior of a cave and its ceiling drips with fake foliage growing out of faux trees, George’s Bistro is worth a visit even if you’re not hungry. If you are hungry, however, George would be happy to pull a bottle of wine right out of the cave wall that separates the otherwise standard dining area from the open-air kitchen and serve it with one of the items from his vaguely Mediterranean but definitely moderately priced menu. Appetizers run from the $8 bruschetta to the $12 steamed clams; salads include the homemade Caesar for $9 and the warm pear and goat cheese for $13; sandwiches range from the $10 club to the $13 New York steak and Portobello mushroom; pasta includes the $9 angel hair pomodoro and the $13 seafood ravioli; and seafood closes out the dining options with items such as the $10 blackened mahi mahi and the $13 Norwegian salmon.
