Flight Bistro & Social Lounge

It’s got that chic feeling that’s oh so familiar: the edges are clean and sharp, the décor is modern but not sterile and the lighting is sexy-dim but not eerily dark. If a place like this opened in LA, it would probably be unremarkable, but down in Huntington Beach, it is very much something to behold. The city best known for surf culture is now home to Flight, the first restaurant and lounge of its kind in the area. Those in the know cozy up to the sleek bar, backlit in an icy, translucent blue, and watch as diners nibble on flights of meat and/or cheese or the favorite Kobe beef appetizer. Main courses include salads, flatbreads, panini and burgers, plus some beef, fish, chicken and pasta entrees. When there’s no live music, you can lounge on the inviting couches and oversized chairs while surveying the scene at both the bar and dining area. There’s dancing here, too, so when it’s show time, bring your dancing shoes and groove to the OC’s cool new beat.
