Now open on the first floor of Bloomingdale's at South Coast Plaza, the self-titled Charlie Palmer Restaurant is bringing to Newport Chef Palmer's flare for French cooking. Open in conjunction with Next Vintage Wine Shop, eaters can shop for the vine rich tastes that just accompanied their meal. Look for Palmer's signature entrees of crisp black sea bass and pancetta-wrapped quail to be served up with a side of farro risotto or mushroom fried rice. Without doubt, the upscale eatery makes for the perfect luxury shopping-day dining locale, and a way for Orange County socialites to live up to their TV personas.
