The novelty of ordering by a large touch screen in the middle of your table wears off in about two minutes as other guests at you table wait for you to figure out what you want to eat so they can look at the menu. It is lucky that there is a limited menu at uWink. On the Saturday night that we were there service was so bad that it reached absurd. The frazzled manager was no where to be found. You would think that everyone at your table would be served at the same time since all of the orders are sent to the kitchen at the same time. Not at uWink, orders come out of the kitchen one at a time. Your party must eat one at a time if you don’t want your food to get cold. Make sure that you order all extras, like a side of ranch dressing, when you order your meal. Ordering a side of ranch immediately after your food arrives at your table means that you might receive it by desert, if you are lucky. Uwink is an interesting concept that is poorly exacuted.
