For dinner I ordered the gnocchi and my guest chose the spinach ravioli. My first impression of the food was the portion size which was larger than I expected. I'm not sure what some of these other posters are thinking by claiming the portions are small. Honestly, if you want a larger portion size then head to Hometown Buffet.
The gnocchi was to die for, and the spinach ravioli was splendid. After gorging through 1 1/2 dinners we each ordered a cafe and chatted until we were ready for dessert. Once again, I must emphasize that the portions were quite large, so much that I was "forced" to have to finish my guests plate too, as she was unable to finish her entire meal.
For dessert we ordered the Vesuvius (spelling?) which was a soft chocolate brownie stuffed with molten hot (hence the name Vesuvius) chocolate sauce center, topped with strawberries set in a pool of pudding. I think the next time I dine at daVinci's I'll ask my server if I can order dessert first.
