My friends and I went to the Canyon club last week to see Marc Cohn. Of course it was a hot day outside but even inside the air didn't even seem like it was on. We were one of the first in line but got seated the last table on the floor for dinner. After working with on of the managers we were given a table in the VIP section above the floor where there was less air!! Our waitress was great but the martinis were in plastic glasses. When I pay $12 for a martini I at least expect a glass! Our food came out first before our salad and our food was good, salad hot. $34 for a piece of fish is expensive though.
As we were sweating through dinner the first act came on. After dinner the air still was very hot but Marc Cohn came on and was great. Even though the canyon club has good acts I am sure I will never go back. My bill for the night was over $100 and I lost 5 pounds from being in a steam bath.
