Adrianne Curry's South Bay favorites

Adrianne Curry is never one to shy away from sharing her opinions.  The model is actually known for sharing her thoughts on everything from monogamy to marijuana with all of America via her memorable appearances on reality shows such as "America's Next Top Model" and "The Surreal Life."

These days, the Illinois-born beauty is content to live life off the air with her husband Chris Knight (see them in action together on VH-1 in reruns of "My Fair Brady") in the Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach area.

In June, Curry will be hosting a fund raiser for a cause she fervently believes in, medical marijuana rights.  The 25-year-old is hosting an event at the Playboy Mansion June 12 in support of medical marijuana at the Playboy Mansion (Bill Maher hosted a similiar event at the mansion last year for the non-profit Marijuana Policy Project).

For more information on the event (which also features Perry Farrell) or to purchase tickets, go to http://www.mpp.org.

Here are a few of Curry's favorite hangs in the South Bay and beyond.

1. Mama D's Italian   Manhattan Beach

I really like this place because they feed you while you are waiting. It's the best Italian restaurant because they bring extra food you didn't order to your table. I love it.

2. Martha's 22nd Street Grill   Hermosa Beach

It's right on the beach and it's great for hangovers. Omelettes, pancakes...it's all good here. Great lunch can be had here, too.

3. Blue 32   Hermosa Beach

They have the best bleu cheese burgers here. Just amazing. Even though this place is more like a nightclub than a restaurant. Mostly college kids hang out here.

4. The Shore   Hermosa Beach

Like Blue 32, this is also more like a nightclub than a resturant. But they have the most amazing bruschetta. A friend of mine actually is the co-owner of this place.

5. Club Sushi   Hermosa Beach

We normally go here for Japanese because I don't actually like sushi that much. Maybe a bit of sashimi sometimes, but I also like something cooked. They have lots of cooked options here.

6. The Bottle Inn   Hermosa Beach

If you want to go somewhere romantic in Hermosa, you have to go to the Bottle Inn. It's right on the beach, and it's very "New York." It's super intimate and I love it.
