What a surprise find in a city known for poor & overpriced wine lists. One of the most intelligent & fairly priced wine lists I have ever seen anywhere. The wine service was also impeccable with the wine being served at the right tempature in quality stemware. The food is also on par with the wine. There is great synergy between the food & wine which further enhanced this great dining experience. The food was creative & tasty using seasonal, local & artisanal products. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant & charasmatic. The biggest surprise may have been the reasonable cost of the meal with nothing over $20 on the menu & wine pricing comparable to a fine wine merchant instead of a restaurant. We will definately be making Palate a regular dining destination.
