Chris McGaw's photos work on many levels. They connect to nature like the California Nature School, but are also abstract, light and space pieces, reminding one of Turrell or Mark Rothko, involving the viewer on both a metaphysical and aesthetic level. They also are conceptual process pieces as the method of making them informs their presence. Definitely a must see show.
