Dinner and a movie

For those wanting fine dining or an easy bite before or after the movies.

1. Arclight Hollywood   Hollywood

Fine Dining: The Hungry Cat
A fantastic raw oyster bar compliments its other tasty seafood delights. My personal fave: the lobster roll.
Easy Bite: The Bowery
The burger is pricey and served on an English muffin. Does a beer at the bar count as a meal?

Arclight Hollywood
2. Grauman's Chinese Theatre   Hollywood

Fine Dining: Dakota
For the steaks and celeb sightings
Easy Bite: 25 Degrees
Also in the Roosevelt Hotel, it's open 24 hours--plenty of time to discuss that latest blockbuster over fries and 10 different dipping sauces.

Grauman's Chinese Theatre
3. Pacific Theatres the Grove   Miracle Mile

Fine Dining: Hatfield's
A foodie favorite, you might not make it to the movie after a romantic dinner here.
Easy Bite: Cobras & Matadors
I never leave completely stuffed after eating the tapas offered at Cobras, which may be a good thing if you'll be spending the next 2 hours sitting down.

Pacific Theatres the Grove
4. Vista Theatre   Los Feliz

Fine Dining: Vermont Restaurant
If you don't have the time to sit in the restaurant, the menu is also offered on the bar side.
Easy Bite: Malo
Tacos and margaritas--really, how easy of a bite can you get?
Easier Bite: The new cafe next door to the Vista
Coffee and desserts that you can bring with you inside the theater.

Vista Theatre
5. AMC Century City 15   Century City

Fine Dining: Craft
Where you may actually see the people who've made the movie you're about to watch.
Easy Bite: Breadbar
It's right downstairs from the theater so you have no excuse for walking in late.

AMC Century City 15
6. The Landmark   Westwood / West L.A.

Fine Dining: Torafuku
It's a hit in Japan and they serve Kamado rice.
Easy Bite: The Colony Cafe
A charming place for family-friendly fare like burgers and hot dogs, there's even a coffee and ice cream bar to satisfy the after-meal sweet tooth.
