The Waffle

"Disappointed!!!"

foodie-consumer's Rating

This was such a disappointment. My friends and I had been looking forward to a new diner in LA and especially one called 'waffle'! but to out dismay 3 out of 4 of us were extremely disappointed with our food. The waffles were small, cold and hard (they looked like the square eggo waffles, to be quite honest). We were thinking this big fluffy waffle hot of the waffle iron... not here, folks. It was more like frozen waffles that were toasted, then put in the oven to keep warm for about 3 or 4 hours.
My friend who got the fried chicken said that was decent once she put some hot sauce on it, and the scrambled eggs weren't too bad, but if you're going for the namesake please spare yourself the rude waitress and ultra disappointing waffles and try somewhere else (at least for the waffles).
I'd give them 1 1/2 stars out of 4.
