Spectacular Sunday Brunch
"Hasn't changed in years, not a good thing"

Feeling nostalgic for my high school salad days -- when we used to frequent this joint after routinely beating a certain Pasadena's prep school on the soccer field -- I decided to drag my wife and visting in-laws here for a late Saturday brunch. BIG mistake. We walked past the you-get-what-you-pay-for looking luke warm brunch and canned, over-dressed salad bar to find disorganized service, broken heat lamps, grimy tables, watered-down ice tea. And that was before our food arrived. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of it. And that's a problem, when the burger is under-cooked, the buns are soggy, the salads are drenched in oil, the fries are cold. Slowly, my memories came back to me, and I recalled that visiting here was never about the food, it was always about the occasion and the company. The brunch might satisfy after a few flute of cheap champagne, but I won't be returning to find out, at least not until my memory fails me. [Would give *0* stars if I could]
