Not slick, not Scientologist, not much attitude that pervades other late-riser brunch joints, either. Coffee is decent, service delivers and ingredients are fresh and local/seasonal, as advertised, with thoughtful/creative presentations that surprise without trying to hard. If all else fails, there's always eggs benedict or a chopped salad.
