Blu Jam Cafe
"The Best Kept Secret in Los Angeles"
AncientOracle's Rating
I’m a Los Angeles Native, and have eaten at many a eatery in my day, but over them all, but of them all, I would have to say that Blue Jam Café has a plethora of styles to choose from. The owner & head chef Kamil Majer creates the most amazing old and new Europe stylized gastronomic treats that dazzles the taste buds as well as the optic. Each dish is flawlessly created with the proper care and from kitchen to your table; the aroma fills the senses with ultimate delight.
My personal favorite is his home made goulash, one would think its similar to a Cajun jambalaya by its appearance, but once the soup’s flavor crosses your tongue, you realize its something completely different!
Every Friday he has a theme, and that theme regulates the evening’s meals, and at times, the weekend as well. I have been there on several of these Friday night travels in food – and one gets whisked away to forging lands, nestled in a little café eating exotic foods.
Over all, as I stated, this is the best unknown place in the Los Angeles area, one worthy of your visit, at least once a week ☺
