Solomon Burke's best BBQ joints
Dubbed the "king of rock 'n' soul," music legend Solomon Burke earned a bundle of R&B hits in the '60s, but enjoyed a career resurgance in 2002 with the Joe Henry-produced "Don't Give Up On Me." Featuring contributions from Elvis Costello, Tom Waits and other luminaries, the album earned Burke his first Grammy win. Residing in the West San Fernando Valley, Burke's most recent album, "Nashville," was released in 2006.
