Though I would highly recommend crumbs in new york, its LA counter-part is nothing short of a huge disappointment. It is run by Harley Bauer, who decided to join the crumbs team, becoming part of his brothers successful business after realizing he was failing as a "producer". Because of this, he knows absolutely nothing about running a business. The cupcakes are never even remotely fresh, he has a terrible knack for lying to customers, and he is incredibly flaky. You will notice the chaos this creates through the incredibly poor quality of the product, and the general atmosphere of the shop. I say this as a result of MANY unpleasant experience with crumbs. It is extremely disappointing after having such a love of this same bakery in New york.
