A hole in the (beach) wall Popular Drinks: Ice cold Budweiser
Unique Drinks: "The Pink Thing for the Beer Unfriendly" (two types of flavored vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, lime)
Food: Cheap bar food. Great oyster shots with Tabasco when available.
Seating: Small patio flanked by two bars.
Ambience: Small and cozy, sans velvet and pretension. Old timers, locals, and beachcombers in flip flops and beat-up tees. Smell of the ocean, fog, and maybe some smoke on the patio. Shirt and shoes barely required.
Extras/Notes: Super friendly bar--a place to meet a burned out surfer but not to pick up on a model. A respite from the super hip and cliche. Owned for the past 31 years by Steve Mayer, a great guy "who's been there and back." Live music on weekends, real tournament level darts, and video games. Happy Hour on Friday afternoons. Catch the game on the TV, down a cold Bud, and meet up with an old friend.
Parking: Free lot, metered street
