About

In a long and exemplary stage career, Kathleen Chalfant is giving one of her most shattering performances in Alexander Dinelaris' new drama about the legacy of the Armenian genocide on a contemporary New York family. Her portrayal of a 91-year-old grandmother with unspeakable secrets rallies the forces of art against atrocity and permits us to see in the midst of meaninglessness an ember of hope and repair.

Posted by BroadwayBaby on 05/21/08

A top-notch cast cannot save a clunker of a weak script which is marred by too much exposition. Too much of the play is narrated instead...
