Wedged in a sea of psychic bookstores, the L.A. Connection Comedy Theater's future is as bright as ever as they celebrate their 20th anniversary of mischief. An award winning improv troupe, these Valley lunatics continue to bring quality entertainment to the Ventura strip. Famous for dubbing B-movie classics, this bunch boasts such alumni as Matthew Perry, Sharon Lawrence and Kato Kaelin.
The recently upgraded theater possesses a windowed facade and traditional neon framed marquee. It offers a more spacious lobby, vending machines and comfortable seating. The stage is done in black with a capability to open or close a full half of the theater, depending on the crowd size. Seats are raised and close to the stage to provide one of the most intimate comedy experiences in L.A..
Although famous for its improv, Thursday nights at the L.A. Connection Comedy Theater feature a ground-breaking stand-up comedy troupe, who take the traditionally solo art and present it in a unique group format. Sundays feature kids' comedy shows. -- Jim Connolly
