About
Four monologues, four characters, one mesmerizing actor and a whole mess of sorry violence -- Stephen Belber's drama is a small Rashomon puzzle laden with pernicious explosives. Morlan Higgins, in fine subtle form, plays a semipro football player, a miserably married girl-woman, a Byron-quoting mutt and a coach, and their linked confessions spin a chilling tale of innocent love and bloody betrayal.
