About
Considered the pioneer of comedy clubs in Southern California, the Ice House has delivered laughs since 1960. Its legions of comedic veterans include Tim Allen, Robin Williams and Steve Martin. The big names of today also continue to frequent this favorite venue.
Secluded in an alley on a one-way street, the club has a prohibition-era feel. Signs will guide you from the parking structure, but you won't know you've hit the Ice House until you turn the corner and see the friendly glow of the marquee.
With brass railings and mirrored walls, the interior of the club has an antique, parlor feel. Comics Restaurant is adjacent to the showroom. The main room decor offers a simple approach: a mural of the Pasadena skyline as seen from a rooftop and row seating.
The Ice House also features The Annex, where you can enjoy up-and-coming comedians in an intimate, 75-seat showroom.
