Not to be confused with the burger chain known for its dog food-like chili, this Tommy’s is a family-style restaurant that serves standard American fare like burgers, sandwiches and breakfast stuff as well as a small selection of Mexican dishes like nachos, quesadillas, huevos rancheros and nopales de huevos. Monday through Friday mornings until 11 a.m., the $3.99 early bird breakfast special is the way to go. On weekends, try some of the homemade menudo to cure your hangover.
