Discovery Day starts with Saturday Car Tales. Come and listen to fun stories told by friendly neighbors as they read stories about their unique occupations and the cars they drive on duty. Guest readers have included firefighters, highway patrol officers, doctors, mail carriers, paramedics and airplane pilots. Storytelling is followed by an arts and crafts session wherein kids get a chance to make a souvenir to take home Every month features a different arts & crafts project. Past projects have included clay hood ornaments, Land Speed key chains, automobile mugs and popup cards.
