Know something we don't?
Similar to nearby Red Pearl Kitchen and Dolce, the drinks and the scene are really what draw the crowds here. Dimly lit with lush ruby tones, atmospheric candlelight and Moroccan overtones, the restaurant definitely has more of a lounge feel. The varied menu includes steaks, seafood, sushi, a sashimi platter and mac and cheese. The drink menu is extensive, including a tasty raspberry mojito and martinis in cucumber, watermelon and dulce de leche. There’s a dance floor that plays pumping beats on the second floor, and it gets loud – not a place for an intimate conversation, but a good date spot nonetheless. The outdoor patio featuring sexy bungalows is a nice respite, but they’re also incredibly popular on the weekends so book ahead. Reports are that the staff can be standoffish or careless, so be diligent about confirming your reservation and checking your bill.
TIPS: On Monday nights, actors, directors, writers, etc., can screen their movies on the heated patio (seats 200) for free. While it’s good for large groups, it’s also big and trendy enough that things get lost in the shuffle; avoid mishaps and confirm your reservation ahead of time.
