Vinoteca Wine & Beer Bar

Sleek Vinoteca has been a welcome addition to Los Feliz – that perfect date spot or place to grab a low-key drink after work. Nestled in with its sister restaurants Tropicalia and Farfalla, it’s located on a little slice of Hillhurst that has quickly become a hot dining destination. Low on pretense, high on cool, Vinoteca’s wine list is long and impressive, much like the rack that takes up the better part of one wall. And those who don’t know character from complexity shouldn’t feel intimidated, because the friendly staff is eager to help with wine recommendations; but in any case, they have good beers on tap too, including Chimay and Schneider Weiss.

TIPS: The menu is small, but since it shares a kitchen with Tropicalia next door, there are a few tasty Brazilian specialties and a selection of antipasti, cheeses, salads and other light fare. The only drawback may be its small size as it does fill up quickly.
