Know something we don't?

I love the neighborhood feel of Little Dom's, the new Hillhurst Avenue spinoff of West Hollywood's Dominick's -- the way, as you wait for your...

This spin-off of Dominick's—the popular West Hollywood Italian joint—has made a splash in trendy Los Feliz. The interior oozes Rat Pack charm with a curved wooden bar and worn-in-looking green leather booths. The menu is moderately priced and features housemade pizzas, baked tortiglioni and grilled hangar steak. The place has become a big hit with the neighborhood and has a devoted roster of regulars, most of whom possess eclectic, arty Los Feliz style. The booths that line the wall look out onto Hillhurst, the lighting is dim and yellow and the service warm and attentive. Chef and co-owner Brandon Boudet has successfully crafted the space--which used to house the old Belle Époque cafe--into a bona fide New York-style Italian hang, but he aims high with the food (and sometimes misses). For more on that be sure to read Times Restaurant Critic S. Irene Virbila's review below.
TIPS: There is no valet and street parking is rough. Allow extra time for parking on the side streets and walking a few blocks. Also, reservations can be tough on the weekend so plan ahead.
