The ONLY place to get your Filipino food fix on the Westside.
Popular food: One- and two-item combos are super cheap and super good -- try adobo (pork with chicken cooked with garlic, spices and savory sauce).
Unique food: Wide selection of merienda items, including mamon (sponge cake), ensaymada (sweet roll), pan de sal (dinner roll), leche flan (caramel egg custard) and pastillas (milk candies).
Drinks: Filipino favorites like halo-halo (crushed ice with milk, mixed with tropical candied fruits); Sarsi (soda); and sago at gulaman (crushed ice with tapioca and gelatin).
Seating: Tables for 25; counter with seven seats.
Ambience: Mostly Filipino families, especially on the weekends; you can catch all the latest Filipino melodramas on the tube.
Extras/Notes: The popular Bahay Natin Food Mart across the street recently opened this new full restaurant and bakery.
