Open since March 16th of 2007, R bar has filled a badly needed void in Koreatown. The bar is a beneath-the-radar hipster hideaway (you'll need a password to get into the door that changes frequently...sometimes you might be able to get it out of the bartender if they answer the phone) known for its great crowds, and comedy shows on the first and third wednesdays of every month. Make sure to check the jukebox here as it's one of the best in town.
