About
A venture of Javier Prado, brother of legendary Latin chef Toribio Prado (Cha Cha Cha, Cava), Prado's menu--described as Cuisine of the Americas--is an intriguing blend of of Latin and Caribbean cuisines with a dollop of Louisiana Cajun. The colorful, rustic interior and genial service make dining a pleasure, though service can be a little too Caribbean (as in laid-back) at lunch. The wide assortment of dishes includes Louisiana Crab Cakes, Enchilladas, Camarones Negros, and Jamaican Tamales; if you prefer your food milder, there's Tomato Mozzarella Salad and Pasta Prado. Portions are large and dverything is delicious and fresh, though we're partial to the Chicken Tostada salad and the Beefsteak Argentina. Good vegetarian options and a small, diverse range of beers and wines.
